A Message from James Tabernor:

Remembrance Sunday Memorial Service: Over the past few years the police have been unable to provide enough officers to close all lanes of traffic which has meant the service and the two minutes silence have been disrupted. This year, unfortunately they cannot provide any officers to support closure at all. So, with a heavy heart we will be moving the service away from the road and the memorial. The service will now be held on the estate, in the car park next to Sandon churchyard. The organisers have not taken this decision lightly and hope you can understand. The service will begin at approximately 10:55 as usual, on Sunday 10th November.

St. Rufin's Church, Burston, Staffordshire.

St. Rufin's is a small chapel erected in 1859. The church lies on the path of the Two Saints' Way between Lichfield and Chester, which is marked by an attractive board opposite the entrance to the chapel by the Village Pool.
There is a small parking area adjacent to the chapel.

Ours is a Mission Church in the Parish of Sandon with Burston. As such it shares the same ethos, PCC and Churchwardens as All Saints' Church, Sandon. There is a Burston Committee of the PCC which oversees the running of the Church, whilst local villagers look after the building and support its services.
