Hopton & Coton Parish Council:The Council will meet on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at Hopton Village Hall. All residents and interested parties are welcome. Hopton & District Garden Guild At the beginning of April we had Nigel Coe telling us all about gladioli with some very useful hints and tips and some gorgeous photographs. Looking forward to Tuesday May 6th, we have Alan Williams from the Tean Valley Meadow Nature Trust to speak on Living with nature, day & night. The following month in June our speaker will be Margaret George telling us about The history of herbs. And as usual in July we will hold our AGM. We also have a lighthearted competition each meeting for flowers or craft. Tea/coffee and biscuits are included followed by a raffle to round off the evening. We normally meet at 7-30pm on the first Tuesday of the month in Hopton Village Hall.
