Hopton and District Garden Guild on Tuesday 1st April.

Hopton & District Garden Guild

At the beginning of March we enjoyed an evening with Chris Barton of the Canalside Farm Business at Great Haywood. Chris described how the business started with fruit growing and over the years has developed and expanded to the current complex including an impressive farm shop with butchery, bakery and many home grown vegetable products alongside a well-established café.

Next month, on Tuesday May 6th, Alan Williams from the Tean Valley Meadow Nature Trust will speak on the topic: Living with nature, day & night.

We normally meet at 7-30pm on the first Tuesday of the month in Hopton Village Hall. For further information please contact Jill Buss on 01785 259808 or look out for our yellow monthly newsletter on local village notice boards

As always we are pleased to encourage visitors (£2-50 per night) to our monthly meetings, where you will be made very welcome and be entertained by speakers covering a wide variety of interests. Tea, coffee and biscuits are included followed by a raffle to round off the evening.
