Salt & Hopton Harvest Lunch

On Saturday 14th October around 40 people from Salt, Hopton and other local villages gathered in Salt Village Hall to enjoy a sumptuous lunch provided by church ladies and other helpers. The Hall was beautifully laid out with tables tastefully decorated.

It was a most enjoyable occasion and, as Rev Viv declared in church the following morning, at the Harvest Festival service, there was clearly an atmosphere of fellowship & friendship. Sincere thanks were expressed, echoed by much applause, to the ladies who toiled in the kitchen to provide a real Harvest feast for everybody.

The event raised £450 for church funds, which was very gratefully received.
