A warm welcome awaits you at our church. We have a Holy Communion service at 10.30 on the first Sunday of the month, and at 9am on the second and fourth Sundays. We are members of Inclusive Church and all are truly invited and welcomed to come and join us. The worship is by our Vicar, Rev Andy Simpson, lay reader Matt Edwards and assistant Priest Rev Liz Chamberlain.
Our midweek act of worship WOW takes place in the village hall, and this is gathering is especially aimed at young children, but again all are welcome for this informal time of fellowship cake and worship.
We continue to open the church for private prayer and contemplation during daylight hours seven days a week.
In our porch you will find receptacles for donations of groceries for those struggling to make ends meet at this time. These are taken regularly to the local YMCA where they are gratefully received.
We look forward to welcoming you to our church soon.
The parish of Tatenhill: St Michael & All Angels is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops' guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of Lichfield’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advises our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
