About Us

St Lawrence's Church is a small stone building dating back to around 1220. It can seat 56. The congregation is friendly and welcoming. Weekly services take place at 9:30am and include services of Holy Communion (Common Worship and occasionally Book of Common Prayer), Morning Prayer and themed Family Services (first Sunday of every month) with activities for children. Coffee is served after every service providing the opportunity to get to know each other better.

There is a monthly coffee morning run by church members that takes place in Hyde Lea and Coppenhall Village Hall. This is offered by the church as a place to meet old and new friends and is open to anyone who would like to come along.

A SACRED bible study group meets monthly and a group meets weekly during Advent and Lent.
