Every six years, the Electoral Roll of every Church of England parish is renewed, and it's time to do it this year. This is the list of all people who belong to a church, and want to be able to have their say in the life of the church. If you are on the electoral roll, you can vote at our annual meetings. We do hope that all who are eligible will want to join. Everyone will need to complete an application form, even if you were on the electoral roll last year. You have until 9th March 2025 to complete it and return it. You can find copies of the form in each of our churches, or print off one from this page. Please email to jo@telfordchurch.co.uk or return the form to the Electoral Roll Officer in your church (Holy Trinity, Dawley: Jan Yapp; St John, Lawley: Eileen Robertson; St Leonard, Malinslee: Lorraine Granger; St Mary, Ketley: Margaret Southall).

It was announced in all our churches this morning (Sunday 8th January) that we are going to have a new Team Vicar! The Revd Scott Edwards has been appointed and will be licensed here in the parish on Wednesday 29th March at 7.00pm by Bishop Michael.Revd Scott will work with our Team Rector Revd Jo across all four churches in the parish, and we look forward to benefitting from the experience that he brings from his previous parish ministry. Revd Scott is currently the vicar of St Mary’s Church in Chessington, Surrey, in the Diocese of Guildford and will be moving here to Telford with his wife Judy after his last Sunday in his current parish – which will be 12th March.Please do pray for Scott as he prepares for his new ministry; for him and Judy as they get ready to move to their new vicarage on Bartholomew Road in Lawley; and for his congregation at St Mary’s, Chessington as they hear the news this morning that they will be going into a vacancy in mid-March.
