St. Thomas's Church, Mow Cop

Welcome to St. Thomas's Church, God's house on the hill!

We are a warm, friendly and generous community that has something to offer everyone.
Our Church is not a museum of saints but a place where people of various beliefs and backgrounds come to be inspired by the teachings of Jesus in a relaxed and informal way.

We know how challenging life can be yet in the time spent together; we have found a peace and hope in the teachings of Jesus that we believe can truly transform lives and communities.

You are invited to join the journey, a legitimate alternative to the way of life that we have come to know.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Mow Cop: St Thomas is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Lichfield’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO.

If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
