Good Friday Walk of Witness and morning services

Occurring
for 1 hour
Venue
St. Mary's, Market Drayton
Address
Church Street Market Drayton, TF9 1AD, United Kingdom

Do join us on Good Friday as we remember how Jesus died on the cross, so that we might know God's complete forgiveness. Christians from around the town will gather at St Mary's for a short service at 10.00am, before we walk together through town and hold a service outside the Town Hall at 10.40am. At 2.00pm there will be a quiet, reflective service at St Mary's, as we mark the Last Hour at The Cross, with readings from the Bible. In the evening there is a Tenebrae Service - a service of darkness and shadows, reflecting on the events of Jesus death - as we look forward in anticipation and hope to Easter day.
