About Us

The Living Church of St. Mary's is at the heart of the busy Market Town of Market Drayton in beautiful north Shropshire. We are meeting both in person and online - please see our services and events for more up to date details and follow us on Facebook.

We are a dementia friendly church with dedicated advisors to support our community. There are no steps to get into the church and ramps inside.

Our purpose is to enable people to know Jesus, love Jesus and live for Jesus and our vision is to see our town transformed by the love of Christ.

We aspire to be Passionate for God; Outward-looking,; Generous; Loving; Welcoming and Courageous.

An active community, there are many homegroups, bible study groups, a Mothers Union group, various of congregations including Messy, Book of Common Prayer and Common worship. We are involved with the brilliant Churches Together Market Drayton with whom and others a foodbank and Christians Against Poverty Centre is run as well as a Men's group.
