The Lantern Community Church (St Mary's Marlow Bottom)
Who? We are a church community that seeks to be 'fertile ground' where people can grow in their faith, a 'healthy body' that supports, encourages and challenges one another and a 'bright light' to the local community and beyond.
Which? We have two services each Sunday. At 9.30 am the feel is more traditional and reflective, whereas the 11 am service is more contemporary and suitable for all ages; families are especially welcome. We meet together over coffee from 10:30 am between the two services.
Church life? As a small church it is easy to get to know people and take part in our church activities. We have three Connect Groups that meet in homes. We meet several times a year for service Sundays; serving our communities and then gathering for a shared lunch afterwards. We run our Baby and Toddler group on Tuesday mornings and Community Corner for young families and older people together (1st Thursday of the month). We have an enthusiastic Youth Group for year 6 upwards as well as activities for younger children.
