Messy Church

From September 2022 Messy Church meets at 12:00pm on the third Sunday of each month commencing with a bring and share lunch. Services are designed for younger children and their families. Each service has a special theme with songs, prayers and craft activities.  It is a lovely opportunity for children and families to meet informally and enjoy some time together in our wonderful old church.  We aim to finish by 1:30pm

Schools Outreach

Churches Together in Kinver and Enville coordinates all schools outreach work in the Benefice. Kinver Methodist Church runs J-Team  (see below) and the Foley Infant School Experience events as well as other events and outreach at Foley Infant School. St Peter’s is involved in the Experience events for Brindley Junior School. St Peter’s also hosts the annual schools' remembrance and Christmas carols services.

Chaplaincy

A team of lay chaplains drawn from all the churches goes into Kinver High School on Tuesday and Wednesday lunchtimes.  They provide a friendly listening ear for pupils and staff alike and are regarded as part of the school community.  Chaplains are often involved in assemblies, presentations and new parents' days.

J-Team

J Team for junior school children meets on a Friday for four consecutive weeks three times per year after school for an hour in the Methodist Church, Enville Road, Kinver DY7 6BU Contact us!
