Baptism Service with Holy Communion - Mothering Sunday

Occuring
for 1 hour
Venue
Wetton St Margaret
Address
Wetton St Margaret, Wetton Ashbourne, DE6 2AF, United Kingdom

Baptism
Baptism marks the beginning of a journey with God.
A joyful moment for the baptism candidate, for their parents, godparents and sponsors
We are baptised with water - a sign of new life. A reminder of Jesus’ baptism.
We welcome a member of God’s family – into the Church.
The Baptism service leads us on the Christian journey of faith. With the sign of the Jesus’ cross a reminder of Christ dying for us. In the waters of baptism, we die to sin and we are raised to new life, uniting us with Christ’s dying and rising.
Wearing a face mask is no longer compulsory, but you are welcome to continue to wear one at a Service in Church.
You can now receive Holy Communion in both kinds: the Body and Blood of Christ, the bread and the wine. If you prefer to continue to receive only the Bread that is still an acceptable practice, and it remains your decision.
Please sanitise your hands.
Please stay at home if you have tested positive for Covid, or you are feeling unwell.
All are Welcome
