At the start of Lent, this day gives us chance to think about clearing away the clutter of everyday life, journeying with Jesus into the desert and discovering fruitfulness in the wilderness.
We will do this through short reflections, prayer and times of quiet, when there will be a variety of prayer stations and creative resources for you to use.
A light lunch, plus cake and hot drinks will be provided.
This event is free, but to help with catering please book in by Monday 20 February

Safeguarding

The parish of High Offley: St Mary the Virgin is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Lichfield’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

Our Parish Safeguarding Officer is Adie Harris and can be contacted on 01785 284027
