As Saturday's forecast is for heavy rain, it has been decided to once again postpone the planned barbecue and churchyard clean-up at St. Werburgh's. Hopefully it will be third time lucky some time in August - on a date to be arranged. Grateful thanks, and apologies, must go to those few folk who didn't get the message last time and spent all afternoon working their socks off without the reward of a BBQ afterwards. The forecast that day proved to be wrong I don't think there was a spot of rain all afternoon!
