On Tuesday 12th December the Gnosall Globetrotters Running club organised a special foodbank run, collecting donations from different houses around the village. The food items went in their rucksacks, which became heavier as the donations came pouring in. The group ran to the vicarage when their bags were full to the drop of point for House of Bread where Revd Alison was waiting with Christmas carols, mulled wine and mince pies. Thoroughly fueled, they then went to get more donations and dropped off again. By the end of the run they had completed 8k and donated 19 bags of food!
Another run is organised for Tuesday 19th December. Lets see how much they collect on run two!
