Welcome back! We know the many people have missed the opportunity to go into their local church for a period of quiet reflection and prayer. This has become even more important whilst we have been passing through this pandemic, seeing so much loss and suffering. It has been immensely sad that we have been forced to close the doors of the churches through this time.

After careful consideration, the Parochial Church Council (PCC) has decided that it can open St Mary's and St James safely for limited periods for private prayer. This will be every Sunday between 1000 am and 1200 pm. Everybody is welcome but of course social distancing will apply.

The PCC has devised a protocol that anyone using either of the churches must follow and there will be stewards present to ensure that this is followed.

We ask that everyone remembers that the stewards are volunteers and that all will follow the protocol; the stewards will explain.

We hope that this will bring relief and help restore hope. We appreciate that many people feel closer to God when in a church and we pray that you will be filled with the Holy Spirit as you sit or stand in private prayer. Amen.
