Join us this Remembrance Sunday as we come together in prayerful worship and reflection to pay tribute to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice.

The Parade will muster at 10:00 at John Taylor High School, leaving at 10h15
The Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial will commence at 10h40
Following the Act of Remembrance, a service will take place in St James' Church - starting at approximately 11h15

Barton Parish Council wish to extend an invitation to those currently serving along with retired members of our Armed Forces to attend this year's remembrance events. Uniform may be worn is applicable, along with medals.

St. James Barton

Welcome to St James' Church in Barton Under Needwood, near Burton on Trent in Staffordshire. We are an Anglican (CofE) church and part of the Lichfield Diocese.  

We are committed to showing and sharing God's love in our village and in the wider world. 

All are very welcome at any of our varied services and events. Our main service is at 10:30am each Sunday but do look out for how we "do" church in different ways. We hope there is something for everyone! Let us know if there more you would like from your parish church.
