All are welcome to join us as we come together to watch 'Risen' - starring Joseph Fiennes.
Risen is the epic Biblical story of the Resurrection, as told through the eyes of a non-believer. Clavius, a powerful Roman military tribune, and his aide, Lucius, are tasked with solving the mystery of what happened to Jesus in the weeks following the crucifixion, in order to disprove the rumours of a risen Messiah and prevent an uprising in Jerusalem.

St. James Barton

Welcome to St James' Church in Barton Under Needwood, near Burton on Trent in Staffordshire. We are an Anglican (CofE) church and part of the Lichfield Diocese.  

We are committed to showing and sharing God's love in our village and in the wider world. 

All are very welcome at any of our varied services and events. Our main service is at 10:30am each Sunday but do look out for how we "do" church in different ways. We hope there is something for everyone! Let us know if there more you would like from your parish church.
