We are pleased to announce that the Bishop of Lichfield has appointed the Revd Andy Simpson, presently Vicar of the Skirlaugh and Sigglesthorne Benefices in the Diocese of York to be the new Vicar of the Benefice of Barton-under-Needwood with Dunstall and Tatenhill. It is hoped that Andy will be instituted by the Bishop of Lichfield at St James, Barton, in December.

We pray for Andy as he prepares to leave his present parishes, we pray for the parishes as they have to start their process of finding a new vicar and pray that we can cherish him as he comes to a new area with limited opportunities to meet people because of the restrictions we are under.
