A fire is lit outside and the Paschal candle is blessed and lit, processed into church and the light of Christ is symbolically shared through the church as everyone’s candle is lit. Bible readings and hymns tell the story of God and of faith. The first Holy Communion of Easter celebrates God’s love for us all as we remember Jesus rising from the dead. Refreshments available after the service as we celebrate Easter together.
