On Thursday evening we rang a quarter peal. This means we change the striking order 1260 times without stopping which took 42min. The method we rang was Devon Place Doubles, and was new to all our ringers. It was an honour to ring and a great achievement by all our ringers. I believe about 1300 churches throughout the country also rang on the 6th. Many other churches rang on the Wednesday 5th. All the ringing is listed on website. Baptism Preparation will take place quarterly on the following dates in 2024 from 10.30 - 12pm3rd August - CANCELLED2nd NovemberWedding Preparation will take place on Saturday 27th January from 12-1.30pm. We support our local schools, people suffering with poor mental health and isolated and vulnerable adults and many other groups. We do not receive funding from government or the Church of England. All costs of keeping the churches open and accessible to local people are met by members of the different congregations.
