Sunday 30th March 2025

Mothering is not just about mothers. It is about all of us—anyone who has ever nurtured, protected, or guided another. It is an act of faith, not only for those who give care but for those who receive it. This Sunday, we reflect on the challenges of mothering in all its forms—biological, adoptive, spiritual, and communal—and what it means to trust in God’s provision.

We will look at two remarkable stories: the widow of Zarephath, who, despite having almost nothing, found that God’s generosity never ran dry, and Naomi, whose life was restored through unexpected love and faithfulness. These are not just stories about mothers but about resilience, trust, and the power of community—something that speaks to us all.

So whether you are a mother, a father, a mentor, a friend, or simply someone who has ever needed a helping hand, you are warmly invited to join us. There will be flowers (yes, even for the men). There will be tea. And most of all, there will be grace enough for us all.

With every blessing, Mark
