For the next couple of week’s, we will be following the lectionary and taking a closer look at discipleship and challenging ourselves to consider what it truly means to be a follower of Christ. Sometimes things can distract us or get in the way. This Sunday we will be looking at one such instance, where two of Jesus’ closest disciples discover the hidden agendas that even they hadn’t identified in themselves. This is a great opportunity for us to come around God’s Word and to search our own hearts, minds and motives.
