Weston-on-the-Green - St Mary the Virgin

St Mary’s has a regular, welcoming congregation, and a strong presence at the heart of our community. We hold social and fund-raising events from time to time.

There are generally several services each month, and the church is always full for major occasions such as Harvest, Remembrance and Christmas.

There is a rota of local volunteers who are responsible for cleaning, flower arranging, bell-ringing and the upkeep of the churchyard.

Pastoral care is very important to us and individual members of the congregation are active in helping those in need in the village. Please get in touch with one of the wardens or clergy if you would like a visit or know of someone who would appreciate one.

The church is normally open during daylight hours. There is seating in the pews for about 106 people and an additional 10 chairs available.
