Woodland: St John the Evangelist
Welcome to the homepage for St John the Evangelist's church, Woodland.
Our church is open at all times and you are very welcome to visit. There is a service in our church at 6pm on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month; A Songs of Praise service based on Common Worship and a BCP Evensong respectively. More frequent services are available in the nearby churches of St Mary Magdalene, Broughton and St Cuthbert, Kirkby.

Holy Innocents, Broughton Mills
Holy Innocents in Broughton Mills is an historic Chapel of Ease for St Mary's, Broughton. It was built in 1888 with local labour. It is much-loved and well cared for by its community. The unusual nave and apse design, with continuous roof, is believed to have been inspired by the Paley, Sharpe & Austin design for nearby Woodland.
Our church is open at all times and you are very welcome to visit. There is a service every Wednesday at 10.00am, to which visitors and passers-by are made especially welcome. After the service, refreshments are served, including a a soup lunch in the winter months.
Regular Sunday services can be found at the mother church of St Mary, Broughton.

Seathwaite: Holy Trinity
Welcome to the homepage for Holy Trinity church, Seathwaite. The church is renowned for its beautiful surroundings and its connections with William Wordsworth's Duddon Sonnets, and the Revd Robert Walker ('Wonderful' Walker).
Our church is open at all times and you are very welcome to visit. There are occasional festival services in this church. More frequent services are available in the nearby churches of St Mary, Broughton; St Cuthbert, Kirkby and St John, Ulpha.
