Yew Tree Cafe at St Andrews

This is an exciting project, which is evolving.

Could YOU help turn our aspirations into a reality?

Our former choir vestry was recently converted to a kitchen with help from a Tesco Community initiative.  Initially we are hoping to start a 'take away' food service from the kitchen - serving simple food at low cost.  In time we would like to develop a 'pay-it-forward' cafe.  It's early days, but for now, we would welcome donations which will assist us in developing these ideas and the parallel project of having a toilet installed.

Why - Yew Tree?  This is a nod to the ancient Buckland Yew which is situated in the churchyard - in 1880 it was moved using trenches and rollers in order to extend the church.  It is dated as being in excess of 1,000 years old.
