About Us

The parish of Brinsley with Underwood has 2 churches; St James the Great at Brinsley (Consecrated in 1838) and St Michael and all Angels at Underwood (consecrated in 1890.) Both churches are of Gothic design with pipe organs.

We believe there is nothing better anyone can do with their life than become a follower of Jesus Christ. People of all ages and backgrounds are choosing to follow Jesus every day. We welcome anyone who wants to join us on our journey. Our services currently alternate between our buildings and are a blend of new and contemporary worship

We share our vicar, Rev. David Stevenson with St Mary's Eastwood.

Within our parish we have 3 Licensed Lay Ministers, Paul Lake, Rachel Lake and Gayna Hall.  Paul and Rachel are also appointed as Local Missional Leaders. You  can contact them as below
