St Mary's Church, Dover
The Parish Church of St Mary's is located in the town centre of Dover and has been witness to the Christian faith for over 900 years. St Mary's is one of the Dover Town group of churches, a church community in the Deanery of Dover and the Diocese of Canterbury in the Church of England.
Our Mission is 'to encourage and nurture growth in the Christian faith and to seek to live and share the good news of Jesus Christ.'
We are also very active in our local community working alongside other agencies, such as Christians Together in Dover, and running our own projects in order to express the love of God in practical ways.

NEEDED! SOMEBODY TO TAKE THE MINUTES AT PCC MEETINGS!
A few times a year, the church council (PCC) meets on a Sunday morning to discuss things.
Our secretary has resigned after 25 years, so now we’re seeking a volunteer to take on this role.
Initially, we need somebody simply to take notes of what’s said, type up the Minutes and send them to our lovely priest, Revd Melissa Carter.
The next meeting is in January.
If you have spare time and would like to help your local church in this key role as a volunteer, please get in touch with Camilla. 07578 220209The parish of Dover Charlton: St Peter & St Paul is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs.
