From September 2024 St Nicholas Church will begin to develop a 10-year strategy to 2035: 'the Nicholas Project.' This will have three aspects - linking to the 3 purses carried by Nicholas - Outreach and mission, Worship and pastoral care, Heritage and buildings.

Formulating a strategy will help to identify the needs of the buildings, the needs of our worshipping communities, and the needs of the communities we serve, and help us to safeguard, expand, modernise and take forward God's mission here. It will be designed to draw in our communities, enable significant grant funds to be sought and require us to dream dreams with God's help and guidance.

Though the project will focus on St Nicholas (for funding and other reasons), it will also enable us to deepen care for the worship, mission and pastoral life of Worstead, Edingthorpe and Westwick and their communities as well as sharing resources as much as possible.
