About Us

During the Summer months the Church is open daily for private prayer from 9.00am to 5.00pm (weather permitting)

Our next services are shown below. If you would like a link to the 9pm Tuesday evening Night Prayer by Zoom service or would like to receive the weekly Parish Bulletin via email, please contact the Revd David Cowie - [email protected]

Sunday 13th April at 9.00am - Palm Sunday Holy Communion with Revd David Cowie (followed by refreshments).

Everyone is very welcome to all or any event. Please check latest the Parish Bulletin for the most up to date information on services as changes do sometimes occur.

You may notice wooden screening over some of the church windows as these are undergoing normal 'wear and tear' repairs. Also normal 'wear and tear' means we have had to stop the church clock - but the good news is that a legacy will allow full restoration including the clock face and the chime. We eagerly await the finished work in a few months time.

The village school had their end of term "Easter Celebration" in church on Wednesday 9th April., with presentations from all class groups. A lovely time was had by all.

G O O D     N E W S    &  Upcoming Events

The community coffee mornings - on the last Thursday in the month - continue to be well supported. We look forward to welcoming visitors old and new on Thursday 25th April 2025 anytime between 10 am and 12 noon.

Don't forget to stay up to date with events via our Facebook page...and keep a lookout for details of our churchyard spring clean in April / May. It would be wonderful to see many hands make the church look beautiful again this year.

We have a selection of religious books in our lending library in the Lady Chapel. Please feel free to browse or borrow a book or two. Also in the Lady Chapel is a collection  of relics and artefacts found around the village and from the Manor House dig. Do take a look, and for younger visitors, why not try out the Children's Church Trail at the same time to learn more about our beautiful church. At the back of the church there is also a good selection of books and jigsaws for you to borrow, or buy for a small donation.

We are also most grateful to everyone on the cleaning and flower rotas - the church looks and smells beautiful.

The Community Coffee Mornings are held on the last Thursday in the month (10.00am to midday). All are welcome including pre-school children, visiting friends and well behaved four legged friends. The mornings are great for just a natter and to meet up with both new and familiar faces. Please feel free to make use of the organ or piano during the morning, both of which would benefit from a work out.

Weekly Parish Bulletin: This gives details of services and other events for the coming week. If you would like to receive a copy via email, please provide your details to the Secretary.
