About Us
St John the Baptist, Muston is a village church dating from the 13th century located in a prominent position in Muston village within a small, well kept churchyard, which has plenty of space for future burials. The church is built from Ironstone with Limestone dressings. The church has a 3 stage tower containing 6 bells and an octagonal broach spire. There are gabled north and south porches, both with moulded arched entrances. The Church is the only place of worship in the village, and is regularly used for worship, and from January 2017 is open everyday to parishioners and the general public. The church benefitted from substantial repair works to the roof in 2016-17.
