Join us on Sunday 1 December at 11.15am to hear readings and sing Advent carols.

Come and join us for this very special event at St Leonard's where we hear again the epic story of the nativity and sing carols. This year we are doing so on the winter solstice - the shortest day of the year. Yes, it is SATURDAY 21st December at 4pm. Walk down the path lit by flares to enter a light filled church. Stay for mulled wine or hot chocolate after. Bring all your family and remember a torch. We've no street light but there is plenty of parking.

Come on this most special of nights to celebrate our Lord's birth together. We sing carols and mark this occasion with Holy Communion as has been done since the seventeenth century. We do have electric light now and heating! Walk in the dark down the long path illuminated by flares and see the light illuminating the darkness.

There is no service at St Mary's or St Leonard's on Christmas Day. There are Christmas Day All Age Holy Communion/Eucharist services at 9.30am at All Saints', Church Road, Warlingham CR6 9NU and at 10.30am at St Christopher's, Chelsham Road Warlingham CR6 9EQ

We love animals at St Leonard's. They are welcome at any of our services. In June we will be having our annual animal blessing service. All animals are welcome and their humans.

St Leonard's Church is tucked away in the countryside very close to Croydon and Warlingham. Services are held TWICE MONTHLY on the first and third Sunday.
The FIRST Sunday is often Morning Praise or a Country Service such as Plough Sunday, Lammas or Harvest. In July we always remember a benefactor Thomas Kelly, former Lord Mayor of London, a chap from Chelsham who is buried in our Churchyard.
On the THIRD Sunday we have BCP Holy Communion.
We always have refreshments following the service.
