Elmete Trinity Benefice is situated to the east of Leeds, covering the villages of Scholes, Barwick-in-Elmet and Thorner. There are three churches in the benefice, St Philip's, Scholes; All Saints', Barwick, and St Peter's, Thorner.

We are an Anglican church in the village of Thorner, and part of the Elmete Trinity Benefice along with St Phillips, Scholes and All Saints' church in Barwick-in-Elmet.
We extend a warm welcome to everyone and, whilst we have a fairly traditional heritage, we offer a variety of worship services each Sunday at 9.15am. You would be very welcome to worship with us.

St Philip's Church, Scholes, is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults.
