Staveley: All Saints

The Parish Church of All Saints Staveley is situated in an elevated position at the Western end of the Village. There has been a Church on this site since the 14th century, the foundation stone for the current building, the third to be built on the site, was laid on 18th April 1851. The Church was built in the English style at a cost of £1,650.19.4d with a chancel, nave and western tower with a clock and three bells. The Church has a number of attractive stained glass windows the most striking being the three panel window in the East wall behind the Altar. This window was designed and made by the celebrated Belgian designer J.B. Capronnier.

Original seating 200 the Church capacity is now 120 to meet current fire and safety regulations and is an attractive setting for weddings, christenings, funerals and other celebrations.

The Church is open for visitors between 10am and 5pm each day please have a look round and sign our visitor book. Everyone is welcome to join us for our Services, Communion on the second Sunday of the month and a Family Service on the fourth Sunday both Services start at 9.30am
