Our next Family Service will take place on Sunday 7 July 2024 at 11 am and will be based around the story of the Creation (Genesis 1:21, 24-27, 31).

Due to the weather forecast for tomorrow morning (cold, wet and windy), we have decided to relocate the Pet Blessing Service to inside the church (if they’ll fit – horses may not enjoy ducking under our Norman arch!).

Dogs will be on leads, the service will be short, and chaos may ensue – but refreshments will follow afterwards.

Please come if you are able!🐕🐟 Whether you have 2 legs, 4 legs, no legs, or hundreds of legs, you are welcome as we worship God together and ask for his blessing.

We will be singing 'All things bright and beautiful', 'If I were a butterfly', and 'He's got the whole world in his hands' - please join in and make a joyful noise!!

Refreshments will be served after the service.

Our next public worship at St Helen's is a Service of Holy Communion using the Book of Common Prayer.

All welcome - the service starts at 11h00 and lasts about 45 minutes.

February 2025 - Snowdrops!

If you haven’t already done so, do please pop up to the churchyard to enjoy the carpets of snowdrops....

Some years ago, 4000 bulbs were planted annually for four years, and the result is now is quite spectacular!
