On Sunday 5th October we shall be holding our annual HARVEST THANKSGIVING SERVICE AND LUNCH.

The short Family Service will be at 11am, and will be followed by a Bring-and-Share lunch in the church.

We do hope you would like to come. Please bring a plate/dish of something to share on the buffet table – the meal will be eaten informally in the pews!

This is also our opportunity to donate dry or tinned goods for the homeless and there will be a place in the service for these to be brought to the altar.

Wednesday 24 December 2025 - Christmas Eve Carol Service - 18h30

This year we continue with our traditional service of Carols by Candlelight including the Blessing of the Crib. We invite you to:

· walk up the candle-lit Church Lane (limited parking is available)

· gather in the candle-lit church

· sing some lovely well-known carols (from a carol booklet), each linked by a line of the Christmas Story

· hear the children singing around the crib.

The service will last about 60 minutes. Everyone is welcome!

This year’s collection will be donated to The Chiltern Centre, which provides specialist care for 16 - 30 year olds with disabilities, so please give generously, by cash, or online .

Thursday 25 December 2025 - Christmas Day Holy Communion - 11h00

We will be holding our traditional Service of Holy Communion for Christmas Day in St Helen's Church at 11h00.

Walking Nativity - Saturday 20 December 2025

Thank YOU to everyone who came! It's so great to have such wonderful support.

Special thanks to all who helped organise and do stuff and to our star turn, Basil Bagel Burger the ponkey (sic), our hilarious thespian innkeeper at the pub and of course Kirsty and Michael for the wonderful costumes and activity👏🌲🫏

Berrick & Roke Christmas Fair 2025

The Christmas Fair raised a magnificent £2765.60 towards maintaining and running our beautiful historic village church.

A massive 'Thank You' to everybody who came, and to those who cooked, served, poured, decorated, set trails, sold, operated competitions and so generously allocated an enormous amount of energy and expertise.

And a particular thanks to the terrific village children who got stuck in with running events, Christingles, and competitions.

What a wonderful village we live in – such bonhomie…

No wonder Santa and his Elf were delighted to fit Berrick into their very busy schedule!
