Oxfordshire has a rich heritage of churches of all denominations. Many of these date from Saxon and Norman times, standing as landmarks in their neighbourhoods and providing an important focus of continuity and stability in ever-changing times.
The annual 'Ride and Stride' event is a fundraiser for the Oxfordshire Historic Churches Trust, to which we apply when we need help with repairs and restoration for our lovely village church, and half of what we raise comes back to St Helen’s.
This year BRIAN MACKENZIE from Plough Cottage, along with his son, Callum cycled to a number of local village churches on behalf of us all at St Helen’s last Saturday (14th September) - many thanks to you both!
So far (Monday 16 September) £787.50 has been raised towards the target of £800 (98%) by 13 supporters.
All of us at St Helen’s are most grateful for your support - and there is still time for additional donations - you can do it at a click via this link here.
Your help is much appreciated.
Thank you so much!
