HOLY COMMUNION CONTINUES TO TAKE PLACE AT 10.30AM ST ANNE'S CATTERICK every Sunday except the 2nd week of the month which is at Holy Trinity Tunstall, CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE ARE ALWAYS WELCOME AT ALL SERVICES...
Children and young people are welcome at all services but on the fourth Sunday of the month the worship is usually slightly more informal, creative and playful. You can expect to find lots of the usual things - singing, praise, prayer, bible stories, bread and wine, together with a chance to explore our faith together in creative ways - through play, quiz, drama, conversations, craft, film - possibly not all at once! This service is great for young and old alike.

A group for preschool children, babies, bumps, their Mums, Dads, carers, grandads and grannies, guardians - space for everyone to play and meet new friends. Toys and games, music and stories and refreshments. There is no charge for Church Toys but you're welcome to leave a donation for running costs. Church Tots is part of St Anne's Church, Parish of Catterick with Tunstall and co-ordinated by Avril Greaves, a retired experienced pre-school manager. It is open to people of all faiths and none.

CURRENTLY TAKING A BREAK - HOPEFULLY RESUMING IN SEPTEMBER : A short simple form of prayer at night, led by the CHIPS group. A wonderful way of ending the day with God ( or you can go on to join the CHIPS group in the pub afterwards!) Contact Martin Greaves 01748 818381 for more information

*If you prefer a service of Holy Communion, there is always one available in the parish every Sunday. On this Sunday it will take place at St Anne's Church, Catterick at 10.30am. If the first Sunday falls on a special celebration, for example Easter or Christmas, Holy Communion will be included in the service.

Eucharist refers to a service which includes times of prayer, singing, praise, Bible readings, time of reflecting on our faith together, sharing the peace ( shaking hands with one another), affirming what we believe (creed), receiving bread and wine in remembrance of Jesus ( Holy Communion). At St Anne's we use Common Worship the Church of England modern form of service as the basis for our worship. Sometimes there may be a baptism in this service.

All ages are welcome at all the Sunday services. Children are included in our worship and there is a children's area for young children to enable them to remain part of worship.

Worship@10 takes place on the second Sunday of each month at Holy Trinity Church, Tunstall. The service includes singing, prayer, scripture, reflection and Holy Communion. It uses Church of England liturgy. Children and young people are very welcome. Sometimes there may be refreshments after the service - depending of availablity of volunteers.

A practical workshop to explore silent meditation in the Christian tradition. Suitable for both complete beginners and those who have a regular practice of meditation.

Gather at High Green as we begin our Palm Sunday procession. Join in the singing and story-telling as we walk to St Anne's Church together to celebrate Holy Communion as we begin Holy Week - the journey to the cross on Good Friday and celebrate the Resurrection on Easter Sunday

Who is it for?

Anyone interested in being part of a group to;

•come up with ideas and proposals,
•prayerfully discern what is appropriate and realistic as a basis for an action plan
•and then work together with the PCC & existing Holy Trinity Church congregation, to take that plan forward.
No need to RSVP – just turn up!

An enormous THANK YOU to everyone who made a pledge/offered a standing order. Although the full target of £1000 wasn’t met - there was enough offered for the PCC to suspend for 6 months any decision about closure to give the Tunstall community space and time to put their own proposals forward and address some of the challenges by committing to worship, volunteering, giving financially. Also for the PCC to pray and think of other possible ways forward, before re-considering the matter. In the meantime the financial pledges already given will be actioned to ensure the Holy Trinity church continues to be able to pay essential bills. A public update was given in December 2022 and the update is available to download or to pick up from the Village Hall or email [email protected] if you would like a copy sending to you.

THANK YOU to everyone who cooked baked, set up, cleaned up or simply turned up to the Holy Trinity Turkey Syria Earthquake Fundraiser on 18th February – you raised over £570 for D.E.C.!

HOLY TRINITY also meet for worship online on the 1st and 3rd service of the month at 9.15.
