Is it July already?
Halfway through the year, and we (St Joe's) are continuing this term to find some gems within a letter sent around 1,965 years ago! That fact alone makes us believe this is God's word - for then, and for now!
Join us at Newton Leys Primary School at 10.30am as we 'Flip Our Perspective' and consider what the Bible book of Philippians has to teach us today.There will be refreshments, songs, conversation and a primary-age children's group. Plus - as it's the first Sunday of a new month - Communion! Informal, imaginative and (hopefully) interesting - come join us...!

"When we meet, we eat!"
Once a month (2nd Sunday) we don't have a Sunday morning service at the Newton Leys Primary School. Instead, there are a few folk in the church who will arrange over the weekend a 'Meet and Eat' occasion, in their home, or at another local venue, and invite church friends, family members and/or neighbours, to join them. It gives a great opportunity to get to know others a little better, in a social context.

We don't have a regular list of 'venues', so can't easily invite visitors via this website; it's aimed at our regular church attenders to do something - we just encourage everyone to try and take a turn at 'hosting', organising or arranging such a gathering.

Our final Sunday at Newton Leys Primary School - well, the last one for this 'academic' year!
Wrapping up our look at the Bible letter of Philippians, this will give us a chance to end the study, and reflect on all we have been taught and learnt together. It's never too late to start, so don't let this final session stop you joining us - even for the first time! Food, fun, fellowship - and following Jesus. Give it a go; you might actually enjoy it...!!

A chance to stretch the legs, have a bit of healthy exercise - and maybe even a cuppa or snack at the end!
Our summer walk will give all ages and abilities the opportunity to enjoy conversation, the countryside and time to chill.
