The Abbey is open every day during daylight hours. There is no car parking on site, and access is via a footpath that starts in Milton Abbas village, and runs alongside the lake.  It is a scenic walk, of just over half a mile - it may get a little muddy so wear the appropriate shoes depending on the weather! 

You are welcome to visit Milton Abbey at any time, however we ask that you are respectful to the Milton Abbey School and consider visiting at the weekend or during school holidays.  Occasionally the Abbey may be closed for special services.

If you would like to visit St Catherine's Chapel after your visit to the Abbey, head to Steeptonbill Farm Shop (Catherines Well, Steeptonbill Farm, DT11 0AT) where they hold a key. The key is exchanged for a deposit, refundable on return.
