About Us

The church was built in 1928 to meet the needs of the British skiers and other tourists who had discovered the amazing beauty of this place and its surrounding panorama of the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau mountains. Our chaplains are in resort for around eight months of the year to serve the local community as well as the large number of English-speaking tourists of different nationalities, many of whom return year after year.
