St Catherine's Church, Towersey

St Catherine’s Towersey is now part of Thame Church. We are a friendly and welcoming community meeting at St Catherine’s Church, which is situated at the heart of the quiet, picturesque village of Towersey – just two miles from the centre of Thame.

In 2018 the building benefited from a major refurbishment and repair project, which restored the fabric and added new facilities for a wide range of new uses. A flexible space was opened up at the back of church a new servery was added, increasing the range of possible uses for the church. The building is open daily for prayer and reflection, for the benefit of villagers and passing visitors alike.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Towersey is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Oxford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services
