We have a children's church called Elev8 ( 3+ years) who have their session the same time as the rest of the congregation- 11am every Sunday morning. There is a dedicated section with toys and books for 0-3 year olds at the back of the church, too. The worship style is relaxed and informal. We sing modern worship songs and have a communion service every other Sunday. It’s a fairly traditional church that seeks to engage with God through organ lead hymns and liturgy. The congregation is full of lovely people who are all journeying together to discover more about God.

The services are all ‘morning celebrations’ because we are thankful and celebrate the the Good News of Jesus Christ. The services include Holy Communion which is how Jesus asks us to remember him by gathering together and sharing bread and wine.

St John's Church
Welcome to our page.
Our church is a bit different! Similar in some ways to a café church, we put together services which we hope offer something for all ages and where children can be involved and can be themselves. We have a time of sung worship, action songs, a short talk, crafts and a café runs throughout. Outside services, we put on regular events for families and for the adult members (such as nights out and garden parties) and we have a church WhatsApp which keeps everyone in the loop. We also have a Facebook page called St John's Family Church. We enjoy a great link with St John's school and I often go into the school to lead assemblies and visit classes.
Come and try us out! You will be given a warm welcome and there is always cake!!
