Wow it was just last week that we had an INTERACTIVE Christening as we welcomed and baptised Eddie. He was great and loved the water! Smiles all round. 

Family and friends were greeted with compost and tomato seeds: A reminder to all there that Eddie will need the nurture of his community for his flourishing! We then thought about uses of water and any Bible stories involving water.

Other activities included scratch crosses, lantern lighting and making ‘road’ signs for Eddie's amazing faith and life journey ahead.

Eddie's mum wrote on our Facebook page "Reverend Rob christened my 9 month old son yesterday at Ermine Street Church Academy in what was a fantastic service! It was so creative and engaging, and we were all made to feel so welcome. Thank you so much, from Chris, Micki & Eddie."
