“Forest church for my family , is a place where my children can learn about God in the freedom of
His creation . Where they’re free to just be themselves and hang out exploring the space and
learning how to respect each other whilst climbing trees and knowing that there’s a village of
eyes on all the children means I can relax , go and sit in a hammock , pray , breathe out and listen
to God . We all come from different backgrounds with different experiences of church traditions ,
here it’s a place where all those traditions can be explained and honoured with openness . We
really value the friendships that have been made and the laughter over s’mores and hearing Gods
word outside is very special . Knowing that Jesus spoke outside makes it feel more real than the
inside of a church.”
