Our Mission Statement

To live as God’s people, to learn in faith and service and to love our community and to help them to come to faith.

To fulfil this we will

1. Be Christ centred – worshipping Him alone.

2. Learn and live Christ’s teaching together, supporting each other and our individual relationship with God as family.

3. Meet to share our lives and listen to God in prayer.

4. Invite people to know Christ.

5. Welcome and be hospitable with a generous, loving spirit.

6. Develop and maintain relationship with all people in our community including links with other churches in Didcot.

7. Be a generous people – giving freely of our time and talents.

Our Vision Statement

Having established a church in GWP with regular Sunday worship; weekly small groups; prayer along with strong and growing community outreach, our vision for the next five years is to:

1. Preach the Gospel confidently expecting more people to join the Church to worship regularly.

2. Develop other diverse forms of worship to reflect different needs and ages within our worshipping community.

3. Focus on existing community projects and events and use them to draw people to faith.

4. With other community groups, support the building and development of a thriving community centre in GWP.

5. Commit to support and enable the formation of a separate worshipping congregation in Valley Park.

6. Be self-sustaining financially with a strong emphasis on giving both within and beyond our community.
