“Our purpose is to serve the people who live, work, visit or worship in Croft on Tees. We will provide a sustainable future for St Peter’s Church in the Christian and pastoral ministry, its service to the parish and in opening the building to use by a wider public”

Worship

• We aim to provide a vibrant centre of Christian worship and prayer at the heart of Croft on Tees

• We will support additional uses which respect and relate to the building’s Christian heritage

Community Use

• We want to ensure that as many groups and individuals as possible have access to the church and its facilities

• We wish the church to contribute to the community development of Croft on Tees

• We aim to offer a welcome to all, recognising people of other faiths and none.

• We are a family friendly church

Architectural and Historic Heritage

• We are committed to safeguarding and sharing the heritage of the church

• We seek to conserve the church especially in terms of an educational resource available to a wider community

• We wish to preserve the building’s flexibility as a community space

Event Use

• We seek to encourage music and other events that celebrate or interpret the Christian tradition, the life of Croft on Tees or those who live in, work in or visit it.
