Here is the introduction from the St James' Woodside Annual Report and Accounts. To read on please open the attachment.FriendsIt is my great privilege to serve as the Vicar of St James’ Woodside and to introduce our Annual Report for 2021.Our purpose is to live well together under God, and to Share God’s Blessing with the people of Horsforth. Each year at St James' we look to run a course for people looking to explore faith and we've uncovered some new material to use in 2022 that explores the Christian faith from an inclusive and positive perspective. The form of the Being with course is quite different from others people might be familiar with. A series of wondering prompts invite participants to share their lived experience, and this is the starting point each week to share stories and explore faith. In the words of one of the course authors, "we are not interested in what people don't believe, but in what people do believe".The 10 sessions, each of 90 minutes will be held on Zoom, and we start on Thursday 10 February at 8pm. Subsequent sessions will also be on Thursday evenings, with breaks for half-term and Easter. We are gathering a great group of people to share this experience and there's room for others to join. For more information contact the Vicar, Jonathan Cain, t: 07375 557804; e: jonathan.cain@leeds.anglican.org.I wonder if you'll come along ...
