We are closely monitoring the advice and guidance regarding the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) coming from Public Health England, the NHS and Church of England to ensure we take appropriate steps to keep our church community, and those we come in contact with, as safe as possible.
The leadership team agreed four principles to help assess the approach to opening the St Nicholas building for services and other activity. Whatever we did we wanted to do it prayerfully, honorably, safely and authentically.
In January 2021, following the announcement of Lockdown 3.0 we took the decision to return to online only services in response to government guidance and in light of the need to protect the NHS and the most vulnerable in our communities. Sunday services will be streamed live at 11 and 5 from St Nicholas using a limited number of people to make it happen. The Food Hub will also continue out of St Nicholas with all necessary hygiene and social distancing precautions in place. All other activity will remain online.
Gather with us on Sundays, sign up for a Group or why not even consider inviting a friend to Alpha during this season.
